Bridal Market Fall 2013 Trend: Color

Wedding Gowns with Pops of Color from Bridal Fashion Week

Discover beautiful, colorful wedding gowns that graced the runway.

While white and ivory are still the most popular color for brides, more and more women are opting for a colorful gown, or one with a splash of a palette-pleasing hue on their dress.  Designers have created gowns in a rainbow of colors to help brides find the perfect colored gown with dresses in various shades of pink, lavender and metallic silvers and golds.

Vera Wang’s Fall 2014 bridal collection featured 15 eye-popping pink gowns in bold shades of petal and rose, ideal for the bride looking for a fashion-forward look.  Those who want something more romantic will want to slip into one of Monique Lhuillier’s softer pink-hued gowns in mermaid, ball gown and sheath silhouettes.  Ines Di Santo showed a sexy, fitted gown in lavender with an ivory lace overlay.

For brides who want a bolder color, Tara La Tour is the designer for you!  The custom designer has 1-piece and 2-piece dresses available in over a dozen colors, including a beautiful, rich maroon.

But if you’re not looking for an all-over colored gown, there are plenty of dresses with colorful accents that are sure to interest you.  Carolina Herrera’s all-short collection included a sweet, knee-length dress with pale blue detailing, including bows on the shoulder straps.
