WHITE by Vera Wang

Whether it’s a full on Russian Red gown from Vera’s main collection or a frothy delight from her WHITE collection for David’s Bridal, Vera Wang manages to steal the season once again. In her exclusive line simply titled WHITE (so chic!), Wang adds seven gorgeous gowns that make us swoon.

Each new dress is designed for a different type of bride. You have a crinkly chiffon empire column with swagged skirt for the Hippie Princess. You have a crisp Mikado fit and flare with a hi-to-low skirt filled with giant basket weave organza roses for the statement making Fashionista. You have a wasp-waisted ball gown dotted with tiny three-dimensional flowers for the ultimate Good Girl. You have a clean Mikado column with a sculptural peplum and bodice in the most flattering shade of champagne possible for the Modernista. We could go on….

Regardless of which personality ends up in one of these creamy, dreamy dresses, they all share the commonality of the Vera Wang look. That is, utterly stylish, superbly proportioned with details that are at once exaggerated yet completely wearable.

Vera’s bridesmaids are also so charming and lovely. They could double as great party dresses for the bride. Strong shades of sapphire, amethyst, mulberry, charcoal and jet are spiked with touches of chocolate, black and crystal accents.

The long amethyst crepe column, which defines simplicity from the front, has a distinctly different back view with a scooped-out deep cowl drape and tie. Our favorite, and one we think every girl needs hanging in her closet regardless of her marital status, is the jet-black mini with Grecian-style draping and a modern, oversized one-shoulder bow.
