Not one to hop on the trend bandwagon each season, Romona Keveza’s Fall 2012 Legends collection delivers timeless, classic wedding gowns for brides looking to exude a quiet, modern elegance. That’s not to say the dresses are a snooze. Quite the contrary.
Keveza is at her best when working those tried and true bridal silhouettes; perfectly proportioned A-lines, sleek columns and natural waist ball gowns. Each season she adds fresh new details, necklines and fabrics to the mix. Keveza’s off the shoulder gown in bright white re-embroidered lace with scalloped edges is as fresh as a spring day, looking clean, modern and youthful. We love the off the shoulder neckline, nearly strapless but the tiny banded sleeve adds a touch of romance to the look.
Her silk crepe columns, with cowl necklines and flowing one-shoulder drapes are sexy, but covered and truly wearable. They would be amazing barefoot on the beach at dusk, the delicate chiffon pieces floating with the wind. Our favorite was her opening dress, a circle-skirted French net ball gown with a beautifully draped illusion halter neckline, proving once again that with deft skill and an exacting eye, chic always wins out.
