Romona Keveza Collection

From Monte Carlo to Cap Ferrat, Romona Keveza is in an international state of mind and her new, glamorous collections reflect that. Keveza’s bride might go for classic silhouettes but she, too, is for all-out glam. New fabrics like ‘crystal lace,’ a trellis patterned lace covered in clear sequins, flowing silk satin chiffons, silk crepe and glossy silk taffeta are rich and gorgeously luxe.


We loved Keveza’s satin-faced chiffon gowns. Soft and flowing, beyond Grecian--, these dresses reflect a fresh jet-setter style. Her laces are exquisitely delicate and refined in shades from stark white to a pale golden wash and have beautiful scalloped edges that dip and curve in all the right places. Expertly cut in sexy mermaids and slim columns, these gowns are the epitome of good taste carefully coated with a light layer of sophisticated glamour.


Keveza’s asymmetric details are apparent in her dresses, with one-shoulder necklines, high-to-low peplums and single off-the-shoulder straps. She also added a touch of asymmetry to her veils that varied in length on a single veil, some appliqued with bits of lace and others dotted in tiny sparkling crystals that caught the light. But she didn’t stop there; each girl in her show sported a high, slightly off-kilter ponytail that was subtle and quirkily charming.


Keveza completed her bridal line-up with a smashing ruby red taffeta ball gown. She is known for adding incredible colors to her collections, but this origami floral covered gown is a showstopper and worthy of its place as the finale look.


When the wedding is over and you’re ready to hit the social circuit, Keveza has a few uber-glam looks for you. Her eveningwear collection was colored in deep jet-blacks, powder-puff pinks, inky indigos and rich reds. But our favorites were her golden beauties that were like soft metal sculptures, from a light champagne to brassy metallic chiffon and an all over platinum beaded column. It doesn’t get better than this.
