In British Designer David Fielden's future-facing world, a wedding dress is a pure statement of one's personal style. His dresses can be romantic, sexy or even modest but they all carry the DNA of Fielden's offbeat, fashion forward stamp.

His 2011 collection displayed the hallmarks he is known for; covered bodices, swishy satin skirts, tulle, asymmetry and a few of his major, jaw-dropping dresses designed for the bravest of the brave among us.

Fielden's use and mix of interesting, special fabrics adds an element of surprise. A soft tulle ball skirt sits lightly underneath an off the shoulder bodice covered in diagonally stitched silk leaves that drip lightly onto one hip and twist organically around to become an oversized flower at the shoulder. Transparent pale grey (a favorite color this season) tulle delicately conceals a minimal white gown with its softly draped bodice and oversized asymmetric floral corsage.

Fielden's short dresses are sure to make a statement: rectangular and circular beaded motifs on delicate silk or tulle dresses and capes; double-ruffles on futuristic iridescent taffeta; poufed short to long taffeta gowns are all part of the new collection and are sure to delight the bride with a cheekier sense of style.

If you're looking for something sexier, Fielden's got a few numbers for you too. His silky charmeuse columns slink over the body, never too tight or revealing, with asymmetric sleeves, jeweled collars, blouson tops, halter necklines and waterfall drapes.

Ever inventive, David Fielden doesn't dwell on past fashion trends or ideas. After all, tomorrow is another day.
