Lavish Oceanfront Cabo Wedding
Bita and Reza started their weekend wedding by whisking 120 of their nearest and dearest to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. With beautiful beaches, fabulous weather and the Colin Cowie Celebrations team orchestrating every detail of the weekend long celebration- you can guarantee the wedding party was in for a good time! The couple shared a beautiful Persian wedding overflowing with big doses of style and glamour.
Breaking with tradition, an organic gray carpet was used to create a curving aisle that allowed a natural flow for the walk to the altar. The aisle led to a lucite ceremony structure dripping with garlands of orchids and crystals, which provided an unobstructed view for each guest. The ceremony was constructed in the round, allowing for plenty of front-row seats and an intimate feel. Our bride and groom sat on a lavender bench with white legs and a grey carpeted Sofreh, the traditional table of items needed for a Persian ceremony was spread in front of them.
Cocktail hour took place in the foyer of the hotel ballroom, outside in the breezeway area. Guests then entered the reception space which was awash in a soft lavender glow with white, metallic and purple accents. White leather furniture and coffee tables, lucite bars and purple area rugs brought the space to life.
The couple’s triumphant wedding cake was six layers, with alternating tiers covered in pearl accents, and octagonal in shape. After the cake cutting, guests were treated to a surprise performance by none other then Julio Iglesias. The performance was especially meaningful to the bride, since as a child growing up in Iran she loved his music as did many guests in the room. Take a look at this extraordinary weekend event here:
