Enchanting New York Public Library Wedding

Enchanting New York Public Library Wedding

It doesn’t get more quintessentially New York than the New York Public Library. For one special couple, the Colin Cowie Celebrations team took over the iconic space and transformed it into a wedding wonderland. For the wedding ceremony, the aisle was flanked by lush green hedges-, which lead to a live wedding arbor of greenery bordering white gypsophila en masse.

The fresh theme continued on to the reception space, where miniature hedges were used to create an escort card display that guided guests to their seats. Elegant banquet tables lined the perimeter of a black and white checkered dance floor. The tables gave great texture to the room by telling two different stories with table settings. One, a chic mixture of high and low arrangements of gypsophila accented by black lacquer floral vessels and dinnerware. The other an enchanting table lined with a black runner overflowing with a mix of gypsophila arrangements in square vessels and floating candles in varying heights. Even the classic six-tier wedding cake was adorned with gypsophila, tying the entire theme together. There is something undeniably magical about getting married in a setting that transports you to another place and time. Take a look at all the fabulous details here:
