Elegant Tuscan Inspired Birthday Celebration
Who wouldn’t want to celebrate their birthday spending a glamorous night under the stars? Apple Vice President of Education John Couch teamed up with the Colin Cowie Celebrations team to throw an epic outdoor celebration for his equestrian wife, Tara at their striking California home. The alfresco affair was a true tribute to Tara, and filled with personalized touches that paid homage to her love for Italy and passion for horses.
Guests began the evening soaking in the relaxed elegance of the Couch residence. Specialty cocktails were served at the on property stables at arrival. The night then continued to the outdoor pavilion where partygoers delighted in an over-the-top antipasti station and custom wood-grilled pizzas.
A pathway lit by oversized lanterns directed guests to an elegant alfresco dining space. String lights hung from above rustic wooden tables transporting guests to Italy. The banquet tables were covered in urns overflowing with long olive branches and fresh picked herbs punctuated with white blooms. Guests settled into their seats, where they found horse-bit leather napkin rings and custom menus, and delighted in a sumptuous four-course feast.
The party went late into the evening, as guests danced to the San Francisco band, Con Brio. A limoncello bar, espresso cart, and crepe station kept the party fueled with fun. Filled with a fresh and chic sense of style, this is one night the power couple will remember forever.
