Dazzling Hudson Valley Wedding
This romantic estate wedding is truly the definition of lovely. Explore not one, but two, gorgeous celebrations that make up this exciting wedding weekend. The setting was a Tuscan-style estate venue set in upstate New York with stunning views of the Hudson Valley, and a gradient color palette that would leave any bride inspired.
The couple welcomed guests to their wedding weekend with a fun and festive rehearsal dinner. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served in the salon, followed by a hearty family-style Tuscan dinner set on the terrace. Stunning arrangements of pink peonies in bud vases lined this long dinner table, dressed with a crisp white linen and frayed burlap runner.
Elizabeth and Jarett said “I do” under an ivy-covered chuppah, covered with roses, peonies, hydrangea, and hanging votive candles. As the processional song, “Here Comes the Sun” began to play, the gloomy skies finally opened up for the first time all day, letting a ray of sunshine gleam through the ceremony tent and giving the bride a gorgeous natural glow. Needless to say, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. As they recessed down the aisle as husband and wife, guests showered them with fresh flower petals.
Cocktail hour took place in the courtyard, anchored with a gorgeous fountain filled with pink peonies and surrounded by crystal votive candles. Guests enjoyed the raw bar complete with a custom-monogrammed ice sculpture and sipped on curated signature cocktails, crafted from the couple’s favorite ingredients.
The reception took place in a sail water style tent set in a nearby meadow. The ceiling was treated with a series of ivory asymmetrical drapes, a cluster of stunning crystal chandeliers, and a soft lighting pattern to complete the gorgeous look. Long dining tables were set with shimmering white and ivory metallic linens and monochromatic floral centerpieces, comprised of peonies, parrot tulips, sweat pea, ranunculus, and anemones just to name a few. And if you didn’t think this celebration was sweet enough, take a look at the glamorous wedding cake reminiscent of the bride’s wedding dress, and the decadent candy bar filled with the couple’s favorite candies from their childhood.
