Fabulous Recipe No. 38

This delicious recipe for baked brie is fantastic for a Saturday brunch.

1 (4 or 8 oz) round of Brie or Camembert cheese (uncut with the edible white casing intact)
1 tablespoon butter
Almonds, slivered and toasted


Place cheese on ovenproof plate (a pie plate works well). Spread top with butter; cover with toasted almonds. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes, depending on size. Center should feel soft when you push down with a spoon. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with sliced French bread or crackers.
